International Studies: Paris, France

This exciting program in Paris is a wonderful opportunity for students to not only get
credit towards their Communication major or minor, but also to experience all that the amazing city of Paris has to offer.

Students participating in this program will take communication classes at NEGOCIA, a
state-of-the-art business school in Paris, France. NEGOCIA prepares people from all over
the world by providing educational and training programs geared toward today’s global
market.

Those who participate in this program will become more confident and knowledgeable about careers in the global environment. In addition, the faculty director for this program will accompany the students for the first 2 weeks of the program.

Participants will be housed in student residences by the educational coordinator for this program, ACCENT, who will also be providing the excursions, cultural activities, orientation, and access to ACCENT computer lab, library, and facilities.

The student residences will be double occupancy in a selfcatered apartment. Classes will be easily accessible by mass transit (the Metro) which is also included in the cost.

Credit for this program will be given in the form of 6 hours of Communication credit, applicable to a student’s major or minor in Communication.

The first course is called “Intercultural Management: Values and Behaviors in
the Multi-cultural Workplace,” which counts as COM 372: Intercultural Communication.

The other course is “Global Marketing and Communication,” which qualifies as a COM Major Elective.
